Within the handle is a spring loaded top section that allows the user to make the final height adjustments easily with just one hand. One of the buttons releases the spring so the height can be adjusted up or down about 5 inches, the other button locks the spring into place once the perfect height has been reached.Other great features of the EZ POD include a folding foot brace to keep the bottom of the monopod secure in any surface.
